The Naxxar Venture Unit is formed from about ten ventures, all between the age of sixteen and eighteen years. Throughout the year various activities are organised by the unit from time to time. The activities are quite challenging and a good number of scouting skills such as knotting, camping and pitching tents, compass and mapping and backwoods cooking come into action. We also organize other outdoor activities such as scuba diving, horse riding and canoeing. Unlike other activities organized by other sections of the group, most of these activities are not organized by the unit leader but by all the ventures. These activities are planned by the participation and contribution of all the ventures together with the Venture Scout Leader (VSL), who advices and keeps an open eye on all of our new activities being planned. At the end of every year, during the festive season, we close a fun-packed year and we would all enjoy a Christmas dinner and a laugh together, all looking forward for the activities of the forthcoming year.
