We met at our quarters and by 8.30am we were enthusiastically on the coach to Cirkewwa. The Comino boat was there waiting for us, the thirty minute trip on the serene blue waters was refreshing leaving us all with this undescribing feeling of serenity.  

We stopped at the Blue Lagoon and walked through the path that lead us to Santa Maria beach.  The sandy beach was in complete silence but was not to be for long as happy laughter and screams soon filled the air.  The children wasted no time to jump and splash around in the much inviting cool water.  

 

The day was spent at one's leisure sunbathing or swimming whilst others opted to take a walk around the splendours of Comino.  But time flies and happy times soon come to an end.  The ferry boat was punctual and by 4.30pm a group of nicely tanned people were on their way back to Cirkewwa.  This time we enjoyed a light breeze  
and although with less energy that we started off with, we could not but notice still the same cheerful, smiling faces.

 

We parted at our quarters all with the same desire to organize same trip to Comino in the coming months.  We thank all those families who joined us on this wonderful day and urge and welcome others to join us in the various activities that the Naxxar Scout Group organizes from time to time.
